Do You Live In the Hottest Area?

The best predictor of the future is looking at the past. I’m looking at where my buyers want to purchase homes this year. The answer is lies in 2015 home sale statistics. I’ve spent lots of time wading through sales figures to see which neighborhoods in Simpsonville in 2015 sold the most resale homes. Several of the neighborhoods won’t surprise you, but others are unexpected. Keep in mind I looked at only resales, not new construction. And I used homes in the $150,000-$300,000 range. So here Simpsonville top 12 Most Wanted neighborhoods (in no particular order).

Shenandoah Farms

Waterton/Fairview Lakes

Gilder Creek Farms

Autumn Trace

Planters Row

Neely Farm

Bonnie Brae

Long Creek Plantation

Remington

Sparrows Point

Morning Mist

Fox Trace

Quality of schools, convenience, location, amenities and availability of homes are all reasons that these neighborhoods welcomed so many new families last year.

So what does this mean if you live in one of these neighborhoods? It means that there are buyers who want your home now. If you are considering selling your home this year in one of these neighborhoods, now is the time to get it on the market. Inventory is very low in each of these neighborhoods and buyers are actively seeking homes in each of them.
